Terms of Service

Myanmar Connect is a free community platform that helps people find and offer services within the Myanmar community in Thailand. We connect people — we are not a party to any agreement made between users, and we do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any provider.

Prices, scope of work, and payment are agreed directly between users and settled in person, typically in cash. Myanmar Connect takes no commission and processes no payments. Any dispute about a service or payment is between the people involved, though you can report bad behaviour to us and we will act on it within the platform.

You can browse without an account and participate as a guest with just a name. You must be at least 13 years old to use Myanmar Connect. You are responsible for what you post and send from your account. Keep your linked email or Google account secure — it is how your account is recovered. You can request deletion of your account at any time from the account deletion page.

Be honest in your listings, reviews, and messages. Do not offer or request anything illegal, harass others, post spam, or impersonate anyone. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that break these rules or harm the community.

You own the content you post. By posting it you allow us to display and distribute it on the platform so the service can work. We may remove content that violates these terms.

The platform is provided as-is, free of charge. We work hard to keep it available and safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the quality of any service you arrange through it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the platform is limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, where the service operates. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

We may update these terms as the platform grows; meaningful changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use Myanmar Connect after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: hello@myanmarconnect.app.
